ANTI-ABORTION protesters have erected a huge billboard showing an unborn foetus in a bid to force out local MP Stella Creasy.
The Labour MP for Walthamstow, who is pregnant, attacked “vile people” from the Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CBRUK) targeting her in the “Stop Stella” campaign.

She contacted police after feeling “physically sick” by the anti-abortion group’s action in her constituency, and today urged the Met to act “to stop the harassment”.
The two-metre long poster placed on a Clear Channel billboard at a busy road claims to show a “nine-week living fetus”.
Ms Creasytweeted: “Twitter-can you get me the CEO of @CCUK_Direct advertising? how much did you get for this crap?
“@metpoliceuk still think this is just ‘free speech’ and not harassment of women in Walthamstow?”

She also wrote: “The solidarity Walthamstow is experiencing from our brothers and sisters in Europe against these vile people makes my heart sing and my determination to stand up for women everywhere stronger.”
It comes after MPs approved an amendment tabled by Ms Creasy to decriminalise abortion in Northern Ireland, where it is still illegal.
A post on the CBRUK website says its Stop Stella campaign is “calling upon Stella Creasy, MP for Walthamstow, to stop promoting human rights abuses of children in the womb.”
The group said it was “saturating” Walthamstow billboards and advertising kiosks with “the reality of abortion”.

Ms Creasy – who has also suffered two miscarriages – was branded a “hypocrite” by the group for being pregnant but supporting women’s right to be able to have an abortion.
The post said: “Stella Creasy deliberately conceals in all her public statements and dialogue on abortion – the humanity of the unborn child and what an abortion procedure actually entails.
“Yet when she is speaking about her own baby in her womb, and her previous miscarriages, she speaks openly on their humanity.”
Ms Creasy’s Twitter followers backed her after the poster, which shows a two-inch long foetus, was erected.

Fellow MP, Rosie Duffield, tweeted it was “offensive and harassment”.
Sarah Crook said: “This is horrendous. An attack on women and a swipe at you. Solidarity, Stella – thank you for all you do for women’s rights.”
Thomas Kohurt wrote: “Saw this on the way to Wood Street this morning outside the bakery where so many families stop – amazed and saddened that it got through @CCUK_Direct. Know that your constituents are behind you on this.”
Another follower posted: “This is absolutely outrageous. I have no words. Not sure where I can complain as a resident of Walthamstow where this is occurring, but I am offended.”
One person blasted it as “filthy propaganda” being used to terrorise vulnerable women”.
Another claimed the foetus shown in the poster was “misleading” and appeared to be older than nine weeks.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan has branded the group’s protest “sickening” as Clear Channel said it was removing the CBRUK posters.
A Clear Channel spokesman said: “We sincerely apologise for any offence that has been caused by a recent campaign which we ran in Walthamstow on behalf of a customer. We’re taking immediate action to remove this campaign.
“As an Out-of-Home media owner, we take a neutral stance towards all advertising and have robust procedures in place to ensure that the creatives we run comply with the UK Advertising Codes. While this campaign met these requirements, we accept that the content should have been scrutinised in greater detail and should not have been displayed.
“We are reviewing the internal processes we have in place regarding the campaigns and content we run, to prevent an issue like this from happening again.”
